A company of tradition and continuous innovation

Originally founded in 1933 under the name Wambeler Drahtseilerei Busse & Co.KG, the wire rope manufacturer in 1939 became part of the vom Hofe company group in Altena.

The company continued to operate under the name Wambeler Drahtseilerei GmbH until 1992. Because of the diversification of the product range, which meanwhile included chain and textile lifting sling products, the present abbreviated name was chosen.
